"A good warrior needs two things: strong muscles, and a strong technique!"
Shale is an orphan, who vowed to protect people after Cliff saved his life years ago.
He started out as a less than stellar fighter, but managed to smooth talk his way into the Sleipnir Troops. He enrolled at the same time as Victor, and being older, improved faster than him. He trains hard every day, hoping to one day be a respected warrior.
Thanks to his passionate-yet-disciplined approach to training, he's gained the respect of even the most jaded of cohorts.
